গোয়াইনঘাট উপজেলা তথা নন্দিরগাঁও ইউনিয়নের বাসিন্দারা সিলেটের আঞ্চলিক ও চলিত ভাষায় কথা বলেন। উপজেলার শিল্প একাডেমীর মাধ্যমে অনেক শিল্পী নিজেকে সংস্কৃতি অঙ্গনে প্রকাশ করতে সক্ষম হয়েছেন। তাদের মধ্যে অত্র ইউনিয়নের দিবা রানী চন্দ, উপজেলা সদরের প্রিয়াংকা সহ  সিলেট জেলার অনেক শিল্পী, মরমী কবি ও সাধক আছেন যাদের গান মন ছুঁয়ে যায়। এদের মধ্যে উল্ল্যেখযোগ্য হলেন প্রয়াত শাহ আব্দুল করিম, প্রয়াত হাসনরাজা, শেখ ওয়াহিদুর রহমান ও কারী আমির উদ্দিন প্রমুখ। যাদের কথা সিলেট বাসী তথা সারা বাংলাদেশের মানুষ সারা জীবন মনে রাখবে । আর এই শিল্পী ও সাধকের গানের আসর প্রতি বছর ইউনিয়নের আনাচে কানাছে হয়ে থাকে।
